With One Hand Behind My Back
Or… holding a baby rather… lol
With much happiness, I packaged three paintings for shipment today (including @roadkill_spatula‘s) and we had a great time talking to strangers at the post office. Then we went and played for a little while at the park down the street from our house.
But the first task of the day was finishing this piece up.
It was a still life. Now it’s not.

Sounds like an awesome day.
I guess it a moving life now…..lol
love this theme you got going on.
a moving life, with butterflies, it’s awesome! Glad your enjoying the baby, they grow up so fast! And Yea for roadkill and Alicia!!!!
Oooooh….Butterflies. Like the entire painting, but really love the butterflies. They sure would make a pretty set of magnets to go on my fridge…
I could see this hanging in my studio… I would offer more words, but my bed is screaming for me to join it in slumbertime
excellent!
Your paintings make me remember of glass windows at churches or even the way tiffany works are made.
Impressive !
Cheers, michel
I really like how the butterflies stand out!
I was thinking of painting glass yesterday when I was moving! This is inspirational – another work bursting with energy.
PS I tend to play uke songs I can sing. No specific genre but everything alto. Chords not as important as joy.
@Bels_Kaylar - Just having myself a good time
@C_L_O_G - Yes. Lots and lots of movement
@promisesunshine - Thanks. I’m really enjoying exploring it. It feels really good
@mlbncsga - Life is a blast! Lots of coffee. Lots of sleep. Lots of music and painting
@armnatmom - I do need to print up some magnets today…
@Aloysius_son - Have good sleeps. You work too hard Although I guess it’s better to be on roofs when it’s not July and August
@plantinthewindow - Thanks you
@michelmthomas - Thank you very much. My parents used to do a lot of stained glass when I was small. It’s stuck with me.
@FatherFiguring - Thank you
@Lenore_Happenstance - Thank you very much. I’m really having an incredible time right now! I’m a soprano so I guess the uke is good for me. The classical stuff appeals more to my husband so I focus on that a lot when he’s listening.
@oceanstarr - Except that I am roofing Ecuador right now, where it is always July and August!
@Aloysius_son - Ha! Well… Geez… Stay hydrated
