Brief update
Turns out taking care of a baby takes a lot of time… I can crochet all day, but getting photos taken and typing and such are tough at the moment.
Wonderful people keep sending cards and gifts. @armnatmom sent an awesome package the other day. I really wanted to photograph the outfit on Seren, but I can’t quite get it together with the camera and happy baby etc.
So she’s growing fast and I’m still working hard, but I’m afraid I’m afk for a bit longer until one of those baby slings I’ve been promised turns up.

Yup babies are huge time consumers but what a joy to have your time reduce to nothing by them

When I saw that adorable dress, I immediately thought of you and the baby, and just couldn’t resist! I thought the bracelet could be something to add to her treasure chest for when she gets older….
Good to hear from you — I’ve thought about you and realized you must be super busy! Take good care of your little kidlet, and update when you can!

There may be more than one grin in the room. Till you’ve been there, you have no idea how much time feeding, diaper changing, and cuddling take. It’s not for long, though. Someday you will look at Seren and say “my baby’s gone!” and that day will come sooner than you expect. Then you get to deal with the challenges of the new stage of being and growing… O&U to you!

ohhh I remember those days too .. you always seem to get up early and busy busy busy all day long then fall into bed at night so you can get up early and busy busy busy all day long again. Isn’t Seren’s smile the most amazing thing you have ever seen!? Just melts your heart! Until I had my daughter I didn’t realise that I could love someone that much! :o) Oh .. and it surely is true that the time will just fly by .. my daughter turned 30 last November .. I don’t know where that time went .. I told her to stop it though .. because she is making me look old .. cos it’s all about me .. right?

@xXxlovelylollipop - I’m getting back to work pretty well now. It’s just about strategy. We got a baby sling now so I can wear her while I do stuff. She is an absolute joy
You know I’m dodging the pink stuff lol. I really do love the bracelet and I’m sure she will too when she grows a bit. It really made my day to get the package from you. This little girl is so surrounded by love!
@WakeUpLaughing - Oh yeah – It is absolutely amazing how the time flies. You can almost see her growing!
@be_the_rain - Strawberry blonde like I was when I was that size. She has a small strawberry birth mark on the back of her head like me too. Aside from that she’s all her daddy’s daughter!

@slmret - Oh yeah – super busy. Washing diapers every day and catching the time I can between feedings lol… But things are beautiful and she’s doing great! Thanks for the note!

@scifiknitter - I love seeing her get more independent now. She can sleep beside me on the couch some so I don’t have to snuggle her up all the time. I do love the snuggles though and I’m enjoying them all I possibly can while we have this time! That sleepy snuggle baby stuff is just wonderful!
@ordinarybutloud - These are some really good times indeed. I haven’t done much online for a while now, but I just can’t squander this great baby snuggle time while I have it! I hope you’re doing well. I haven’t had time to read updates for some time now.
@Aloysius_son - Everything is lovely. Baby growing. Paintings started. Pile of crocheted hats to photograph. New roof paid for by insurance (hail damage). Everything’s just great! I hope things are as lovely for you
