Adventures
The cuteness… She and I just returned from our first camping trip. It was awesome! She was so good!
And a crocheted art scarf/belt. I love this one so I’ve been slow to post it, but it’s up now…
Geez it’s hot… If you have air conditioning, enjoy it for me!!!

Ugh I can’t imagine not having a/c…I hope you have plenty of fans, I hear it’s been dangerously hot in a lot of places.
The baby is so good that others can take care of her too? Have all the teething pains passed? I suppose your baby is as easy as taking care of your bird?

She’s beautiful. :) Glad she likes camping. I have many fond (and humorous) memories of camping with our children when they were small.

Precious! I can’t wait to take Sophie camping. It is far too hot and there are burn bans everywhere here, but hopefully soon.

Thank you! She is SUCH a joy! I wish I could just drive over some afternoon and let you play with her for a couple hours. 
@wretched_epiphany - It’s pretty hot. We’re looking at triple digits later this week, but we stay hydrated and aside from a little baby heat rash, all is well.
@PPhilip - She’s just starting to get some teeth and I have to take care of her most of the time, but she’s a pretty easy baby compared to some stories I hear.
@my0615 - Thanks. We’re doing pretty well. Some siesta time in the hottest part of the day works pretty well.
@promisesunshine - Ha – I got to see some older female child drama recently and I’m not looking forward to that, but I guess it’ll be easier when it’s my own child and not someone else’s. This sweet snuggly stuff is pretty awesome and I sure will miss it when it’s gone!

@armnatmom - Yes – just Seren and I went on adventure. We camped in the back of my Volvo station wagon heheh. It was lovely. We are going to go on adventure one day. Husband has an old Crown bus that we’re converting into a traveling residence and are due for a trip out West. We have a lot of folks we need to see in TX and AZ and then on to CA and Cabo. Hopefully we’ll be out your way sooner than later.
@A_Different_Route - It was so great! So much easier now when she’s tiny I figure. Once she starts running around and stuff it’ll be more challenging. She just loved being out in the woods!
@Aloysius_son - I actually haven’t painted her yet – too much paying work to get done lol… When I see the right photo, I’m sure it’ll just happen. The best portraits are the ones that happen spontaneously and good photos are the best inspiration for me.

@be_the_rain - Yes – The red hair comes from my family. I was a strawberry blonde and my brother is a proper ginger. I lucked out with the photo. If you saw the rest of the yard you’d really be amazed! the joys of Photoshop cropping! I’m just glad I have such a lovely online fambly to share with.

I love watching babies evolve from a newborn to toddler because they get cuter and cuter everyday and your baby is showing exactly that!
